| The Soap Production … |
The mildness of olives combined with
the antiseptic and moisturizing virtues of Laurel result in
the Pain D’Alep,
it’s pureness comes from the natural raw materials used
and it’s strength from traditional manufacture. |
Each season, from November to March,
the ancient ritual is perpetuated. Olive oil (of superior quality
obtained
by grinding whole olives between millstones and soda extracted
from sea salt or wood ash, are heated in
cauldrons. Laurel oil is then add to the precious mixture. |
Supremely mild, it is ideal fro general
skin care. Ancient Greeks prescribed this soap to treat eczema,
psoriasis
and other skin complaints. Pain D’Alep possesses genuine
medicinal properties based on the antiseptic, healing,
anti-inflammatory and moisturizing virtues of Laurel which restores
the skin’s natural protective barrier, the
hydrolipidic film. Laurel Oil has been an invaluable skin care
ingredient for tens of centuries. |
